The International mountaineering and trekking organization Together with the firm "Achik- Tash "Invites foreign mountain climbers and tourists to visit the South of Kyrgyzstan
We provide climbers and tourists the opportunity to perform an ascent to the highest peaks, mountainous walking tours, trekking, exploration of caves and excursions along the remarkable places of the Southern Kyrgyzstan , along the Pamir- Alai mountain system, as well as along the ridges of Western Tian-Shan.
Tourists will have a chance to walk along the paths of the ancient Silk Road , to visit preserves and other places untouched by civilization. They will see the unique walnut, and fruit-tree forests and will have the opportunity to admire the scenery, the animal world and vegetable kingdom of the Kyrgyz land. Besides, they will see the highest Pamir- Alai and Tian- Shan ridges and what is more they will visit a number of beautiful caves and will be carried away by fantastic underground world. Our guests will see ancient towns of the Fergana Valley and Central Asia , get acquainted with the mode of life of local people, their customs, traditions and national cuisine.
We are ready to receive you according to all the programs described bellow. However, if you don't find in our prospectus the itinerary along which you like to travel, please, inform us. We are ready to organize any program you like. And. if your suggestion is original and unusual, it will be of great value and interest for us.
The prices of our programs fluctuate from 25 up to 50 US $ a day per one person, but we are always ready to meet your interests and consider your opinion as far as the price is concerned.
Experienced guides, translators, excursion guides, cooks, grooms, etc will accompany the mountaineers and tourists.
Depending on the route, the participants will stay for the night in hotels or private guesthouses (in cities and towns) and in two- berth tents at the camping place.
All the climbers and tourists are provided with transport, horses for carrying the load, tents, sleeping bags, blankets, food. Meals are prepared by our cooks (both national and European cuisine).
As for participants, they must have their personal tourist stock, equipment and warm clothes.
We are ready to receive lone persons and whole groups. The desirable number of tourists in one group is from 6 up to 15 persons.
1. Mountaineering Programs.
Program 1, Lenin Peak ( 7134 m )
Duration-22 days (including acclimatization).
Other programs include the ascent of any other top in the region of Alaisky and Zaalaisky Ridges. The best months are July and August.
2. Trekking programs.
We offer 3-day, 5-day, 7-day or 14-day trekking along the Pamir-Alai Ridges and the ranges of western Tian-Shan. Tourists will go on foot and the horses will carry their load
Daily marches-15- 20km (20- 25 L km).
Route I: "Along the Alaisky ridge to the Pamirs”.
Different circular trekking along the Alai range can be organized. The height of the passes is up to 4500 meters above the sea level. The base camp is situated near the village of Kozho-Kelen or in the gorge of the Kichik-Alai River.
Route 2: "Colorful Kichik-Alai Range ”
Three-day or seven-day trekking along the Kichik-Alai Range can be also provided. The height of the passes is up to 4000 m . above the sea level. Starting points: Karagoi, Kyrgyzata, Abshirsai, the region of Shankol Peak ( 4630 m ). There is a base camp in the gorge of the river Karagoi ( 2500 m .) which is at work the whole year round. Accommodation in the comfortable carriages. Bath is provided.
Route 3: "Along the foothills of Trans- Alai Ridge”
Three or seven-day trekking in the environs of Lenin Peak ( 7134 m .) along the foothills of Zaalaisky Ridge. The height of the passes is up to 4200 m . above the sea level. The base camp is in the gorge of the river Achik-Tash.
Route 4: "Along the Paths of the Ancient Silk Road "
Two different routes along the famous Silk Road are offered: the six- day trekking (Osh-Irkeshtam) and the four- day trekking (Osh- Uzgen - the Turugart Pass ). The height of the passes is up to 4000 m . above the sea level.
Route 5: "The world's Unique Walnut- Fruit- Tree Forests of Arslanbob "
We offer circular trekking along the Fergana Ridge in the Western Tian-Shan. Duration of the trekking is from three to fourteen days. The height of the passes is up to 3800 m. above the sea level. The base camp is in the region of Arslanbob.
Besides, we are able to organize other walking tours in this region. The best period for realization of trekking programs is from the of first June till the first of October.
3. Speleoprograms
We also suggest different variants of speleoprograms (duration: 3- days up to 7- days).
Route 1: "Caves of the Southern Kyrgyzstan "
This itinerary is half motor- car and half pedestrian. The tourists will visit more than 10 caves. You may take part in these programs from the first of April till the fifteenth of November.
4. Excursion Programs.
Tours and excursions can be also organized to different places in the South of Kyrgyzstan. Besides, tourists will have the opportunity to visit cities and towns of the Fergana Valley . Tourists may choose any route according to their wish. Excursion programs can be organized all the year round.
